Black on white is so boring! Apple's Terminal program allows you many choices of color & font. But coming up with a color scheme that is usable takes quite a bit of time. So, I hope these Terminal windows (yellow on black, yellow on blue, lavendar on purple, and mint on teal) will make your UNIX excursions more enjoyable.
For MacOS X 10.3, 10.4. These have been tested with later versions of OS X, and they work great. I had a report that v1.0 term files weren't working with OS X 10.4, so I posted this set that I know works. This set also has the newer teal & mint scheme.
Freeware. Released 9/16/06.

For MacOS X 10.2 & below. This is the original version released in March 2002. I'm keeping these up for posterity, in case the newer versions don't work with older versions of OS X.
